Be a Vendor at PrideFest

PrideFest is the largest LGBTQ gathering in the Pacific Northwest. We thank you for being such a crucial part of it! By now ALL OF YOU should have received e-mail(s) from our vendor Administrator, Troy (see contact info at the bottom of this page) with load-in, load-out, maps, etc. If you haven't, please contact him (contact information below) to let him know so we make sure we have your information right in our system.

Here's our general vendor info letter--important information here!

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Seattle PrideFest 2010!
Many of you were with us last year, and I would like to welcome you back. For those who are new to PrideFest this year we are excited to have you as part of our event this year and hopefully in future years as well. This email is to pass on information that will be important to your planning and preparation for a successful event. Please review the information and contact me with any questions.

Festival Maps:
The maps are available at http://www.pridefestseattle.org/pridemap-june2010.pdf. Table is inside the Fisher Pavilion, the map is available here http://www.pridefestseattle.org/pridemap-may2010-fisherpavilion.pdf. Please refer to these maps to find your booth position and load in times are based on where your booth will be. The maps can be a little confusing so if you have questions, feel free to ask.

Decorator Items:
ABC Rentals is the official rental company of Seattle PrideFest. They have tents, tables, and chairs to rent. They also have table skirts and other items to help you make your booth fantastic. It is important that you have your space assignment handy when ordering since that is how they will know where to set up your rental items. The contact number is 877-939-RENT and there will be an order form attached to this email.

Note: Groups who rented tables inside the Fisher Pavilion will be provided with one table and 2 chairs. Sponsors and Corporate Booths will be provided with a tent, table, and 2 chairs.

Electrical:
If your booth requires electricity please contact me for an order form. We will also be placing a copy of the form online soon so that you can access it from our website.

Use of PrideFest Logo
You cannot sell any souvenirs using the PrideFest logos without our approval. You can sell your own logo design merchandise in your booth. Any items sold must be included in a report of sales form.

Music
If you have music in your booth, please keep the volume at a reasonable level that does not conflict with conversation or bother your neighbors. Speakers must point directly out of booth, and music must be appropriate for all ages.

Hawking (recruiting sales):
Hawking must be limited to the area 10' immediately in front of your booth, unless your sponsorship agreement provides you a larger area of opportunity.

Alcoholic Beverages
No alcoholic beverages can be brought into or consumed on the Seattle Center grounds other than in designated areas.

Stickers:
Seattle Center does not allow the distribution of stickers on Center Grounds. There are many artistist tiles/pavers/murals on the grounds and this rule is to help preserve those pieces.

Water Sales/Distribution:
Seattle PrideFest has an official sponsor for all water at the event. As per that agreement, no one will be allowed to give away water during the festival except the Seattle PrideFest staff and water sponsor (restaurant and snack booths are allowed to sell that product, but if you are not a restaurant/snack vendor please don't plan on distributing water).

LOAD IN:
Sponsor Booths/National Non-Profits: Load-In is available on Saturday from 2:00-5:00pm. Please arrange Load-In with me at troy@onedegreeevents.com. The grounds will be monitored overnight but please hold onto anything of value. If you like you may also begin loading on Sunday at 7:00am.

Tables inside the Fisher Pavilion(T1-T29): Load-In Begins Sunday at 8am. You will not be allowed to drive onto the grounds so I would recommend bringing a hand truck or dolly with you.

Booths Located on the Fisher Pavilion Roof (R1-R51): Load In begins Sunday at 7am
Also the booths on top of Fisher Pavilion must have feet to protect the pavers. We recommend a small square of plywood or carpet piece that you can put under your table and tent legs. This is to ensure the pavers remain nice and Seattle Center has asked that we take special care of this beautiful tile work.

Booths located on the Green(G1-G49): Load- In Sunday at 7:30am. Please do not drive on the lawn for any reason.

Booths located around the Fountain (F1-F28): Load- In begins Sunday at 8:30am Please do not drive on the tiles around the Fountain. Event Staff will direct you.

Everyone will be entering Gate 2 and exiting Gate 3. These are the two gates at 2nd and Thomas. Gate 2 enters people on 2nd; Gate 3 will allow people to exit on Thomas Street. You have approximately 30 minutes to unload. Please be aware of that there is absolutely no driving on the artist pavers or tiles around the Seattle Center.

All vehicles must be off the grounds by 11am and booths must be show ready by 11am as well!

LOAD OUT
PrideFest ends at 7pm in the evening. You will be allowed to break down beginning AFTER 7PM unless the festival coordinator directs otherwise. Cars will be allowed back onto festival grounds as determined by the Security Staff on site.

This is a very busy morning for the festival. We will have staff at the Gate to hand out loading passes and help to direct you. As always, if you have any questions, please contact me.
